Frequently Asked Questions About The List Serve What is the list serve? Good question, the list serve is a newsletter service provided WSU Extension to communicate to our volunteers, partners and the community via email.
How do I get on the List serve? To subscribe to the list serve simply send an email to the list serve address. Leave the subject blank and in the body write "subscribe".
Can I send an email to everyone on the list serve? Yes, just send an email to the name of the list serve and everyone who subscribes receives a copy of your note. Please do not send messages unless you want everyone on the list to receive a copy of your note. Sometimes hundreds of volunteers can be receiving the same message. If you have a problem with the list serve send an email to the site administrator through the link at the bottom of the page.
How do I unsubscribe? This is done in the same way as subscribing but instead simply write "unsubscribe LIST NAME " (without quotes and with caps) in the body of the email.
Remember if you have a problem or question about the list serve please send an email to the site administrator through the link at the bottom of the page and not to the actual list serve
Please note: Trained WSU volunteers will automatically be subscribed to the list for your volunteer group as soon as you enroll in the training. However, you are also free to subscribe to any other lists that interest you.

Food and Farms List serve What we discuss: This email list supports local food and farm production. Regular updates of farming and agricultural updates are provided. A monthly update report is also mailed out to all subscribers. Contact: Theresa Beaver, Food and Farm Coordinator, tbeaver@wsu.edu.
Gardening List serve -Master Gardener list serve What we discuss: This email list provides updates gardening, horticultural and Master Gardener information to all our trained volunteers and the Master Gardener Foundation Member.
4-H Youth Development List serve Receive information related to youth leadership opportunities and free 4-H club activities within Jefferson County and state-wide.
Anyone interested is invited to subscribe.
